Failure creating LeoFS zone 2 when setting ZFS dataset

When following the current documentation to install FIFO v0.9.0, I was able to successfully set up the first LeoFS zone, yet after using zlogin to login to the second LeoFS zone, I get the following error when trying to set the ZFS mountpoint on /data:

[root@... ~]# zfs set mountpoint=/data zones/$(zonename)/data
cannot open 'zones/94d82c02-28f2-ca90-fee0-fd1c1a4bc4ef/data': dataset does not exist

No issues running the command in zone 1. Any help is greatly appreciated.
